Abstract


A poet’s (?) journeys in 17th century Crete

This paper provides information on the journeys of Vincenzo Cornaro, son of Drakos (c. 1613-after 1677). This Vincenzo Cornaro, as Ι have already shown, is probably the author of Erotokritos, especially after excluding the culturally Catholic and Venetian Vincenzo Cornaro, son of Jacob (1553-1613/4), based on new evidence.
